MULTI-SEALS Uni-forms™ epoxy preforms are the no-mix, no-mess approach to industrial epoxy sealing and bonding. Uni-form epoxy preforms are one-part, pre-shaped resins that are solid at room temperature. When heated, Uni-forms melt and set. After the epoxy has cured, it will not remelt. The epoxy seal protects electromechanical components from dust, moisture, oil, flux, solvents, conformal coatings, and other contaminants.
Multi-Seals manufactures Uni-forms to tight dimensional tolerances. Their premixed ratios of catalyst to resin are consistent. The epoxy viscosity is the same from beginning to end of batch. Seal variations caused by operator technique or epoxy pot life are eliminated. All this ensures uniform, high-quality epoxy seals and bonds for a variety of industries.
Unlike liquid epoxy, Uni-form epoxy preforms will not drip onto unwanted areas of components. And post-production cleanup is easy. There are no syringes to clean, and no need for toxic solvents.
To accommodate diverse applications, Uni-forms are available in several electronic grade epoxy formulations. A wide range of configurations are also available. Inside diameters are available as small as .010″ (0.25mm). Outside diameters can be as large as .720″ (18.3 mm). Pre-shaped epoxy seals are available as rings, plugs, rectangles, disks with multiple IDs, trapezoids, and more. Uni-forms also increase industrial sealing production rates. Automated loaders dispense epoxy preforms as rapidly as 200 to 600 parts per minute with little or no operator training. They are also easy to load by hand.
